Support Young People to Attend the
Civil Rights Trail Experience
June 12-15, 2023
Washington, D.C.

In June 2022, young people explored history on our inaugural Civil Rights Trail Experience traveling from Cincinnati, OH to Montgomery & Selma, Alabama.

Participants described the experience as “powerful, impactful, and eye-opening” and are eager to explore more of our nation’s history. This summer, participants will travel to Washington D.C., and explore the rich history, including the:

  • Lincoln Memorial, site of the March on Washington in 1963

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

  • Frederick Douglass National Historic Site

  • National Museum of African American History & Culture

To offset the costs of food, lodging, and transportation, students will be fundraising in a variety of ways over the next 3 months. You can support them by buying candy or making a donation.
