Independence City is a simulation for young people ages 14-21 to experience life as an adult and learn tips to help manage their money. There are workshops, life skills challenge, lunch and snacks provided throughout the day.
Volunteers are needed to help us in the city.

9:30am - Registration Opens
10:00am - Orientation for First Group of Participants*
10:30am - City Opens
11:30am - Debrief
Noon - Life Skills Challenge
12:30pm - Lunch
1:15pm - Workshop
2:00pm - Event Ends
*Orientation will begin at 10:00am for the first 40-50 participants on site. About every 30 minutes, we will have another group begin Orientation.
Independence City is a program of JOURNEY To Successful Living,
part of the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board.
